El Mirage Off-Road Area
El Mirage is a great place to go off roading if you like open flat land. The El Mirage Lake Bed is where you can find most of the activity in the area. There are also 3 other main areas in El Mirage:
The Twin Hills, The Basin, and The Shadow Mountains. All 4 of these areas are really great riding places, but remember to put on your safety flags, and other equipment!
1 Day permits cost: $15.00
7 Day permits cost: $30.00
1 Year permits cost: $90.00
If your coming from Southern California you wanna take the I-15 North to the CA-138. Your going to take the CA-138 exit toward Palmdale/Silverwood Lake. Then your going to make a LEFT on the CA-138. Then you will make a slight right onto Sheep Creek Rd. You will then make another left onto El Mirage Rd. You should then easily find your way to the staging area.
If your coming from Northern California, you might want to take the US-395 South all the way down until you have to turn RIGHT onto Chamberlaine Way. From there you will then make a RIGHT onto Koala Rd. After that you will make a left onto El Mirage Rd.
Remember, safety 1st!

Bell Mountain OHV Area
Bell Mountain was a really great place to ride. Lots of open land, but yet lots of trails. Some sandy spots, rocky parts, and dirt spots. There are numerous tracks to race on all around the place. Some berms are about 7-8 feet high! Great place for beginners all the way up to professionals. It's FREE to get in, and you don't have to put on a flag. Some jumps here and there.
Directions: Take the 15 FWY all the way up to Bell Mountain Road. Turn right on the road. Take the road all the way down to the staging area.
